Peldon Rose gain two International Property Awards – Best in London and Best in the UK
UK Property Awards 2011
Peldon Rose has won again at the UK International Property Awards, held on Friday 28 October 2011.
We have gained three more accolades in the prestigious UK International Property Awards, winning Best London Interior and Best UK Interior for our innovative design and build project for Google.
Peldon Rose was also highly commended for its work for Tullow Oil, producing a sophisticated, modern headquarters for the oil company in London.
These Awards, judged by more that 50 top design and property experts, celebrate the highest level of achievement for commercial design.
We can now catch that bus to the overall International Awards, which ultimately determine the world’s finest property company.
Jitesh Patel, Chief Executive Office, Peldon Rose Workplace Consultants, said he was "proud and honoured to receive both Awards, particularly as the competition was of such a high standard" and he praised the hugely talented teams involved.
This iconic London bus is in fact a meeting room at Google.
Double success at The UK Property Awards
The UK Property Awards 2010 in association with Bloomberg Television is open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe. Every year the awards celebrates winners from all corners of the globe and this year Peldon Rose entered two projects for The World Gold Council and Platina Partners LLP into the Best Interior Design London category. Competition was fierce and our design team were delighted to win both a highly commended and 5 star award.
Major refurbishment for UBC
This project with US scientific affairs organisation UBC involved a major category A and B refurbishment to a 1960s building. With the accommodation in very poor condition, we provided a much-needed transformation -- bringing their floor up-to-date with a design tailored to the company's brand guidelines.
Indonesian flavours for Bank BNI
We helped Bank BNI relocate to King Street; the third design and build move we've worked together on. Incorporating flavours of their Indonesian heritage and reflecting the surrounding London landmarks, we created a dynamic corporate office and banking hall to complement the BNI brand.
Parisian sophistication for Platina Partners
When Platina Partners moved their London base to Manchester Square, they asked us for an interior that would reflect their French heritage. By carefully selecting finishes and colour, we created a strong and elegant design within a compact space -- evoking Parisian beauty with warm greys and sophisticated tones.
Fast track refurbishment for Transport for London
Projects don't come much more high-pressure than this. With TfL relocating a department to a floor above Victoria bus station, we set about a fast-track strip-out and refurbishment. Thanks to two shifts, working day and night, we completed the works in time for them to move.
Tower 42 relocation and fit-out for Arrowgrass
Even relocating a short distance can be challenging. When alternative investment manager Arrowgrass Capital Partners needed to move to another floor of Tower 42, we took on the relocation and fit-out -- making sure everything went smoothly.
Helping the World Gold Council shine
When the World Gold Council (WGC) outgrew their home in London, they wanted a modern space to match their position on the world stage -- somewhere that would last them for years. Peldon Rose's experience of the building at 10 Old Bailey, their new home, paid off. Our understanding helped us create a well-considered design that enables the WGC to shine.
Conjuring up the wow factor for Google
As one of the most recognised brands in the world, Google wanted to make sure their London office had the wow factor and we were asked to translate radical ideas into stunning reality. The result? With a Routemaster bus, six-metre high trees and flourishing finishes, this promises to be a space full of fun.
A fresh approach for Insure The Box
This innovative car insurance company wanted to design and build a new call centre in Newcastle. They came to Peldon Rose because our fresh design approach offered them the chance to create not just a functional office, but an office where people would aspire to work.
A coming together for Extreme
Another huge success; Peldon Rose have secured a large scale fit out project for Extreme, part of Equity Group, on the Cobalt Business Park in Newcastle due to its outstanding reputation in delivering projects on the park. The project incorporates bringing a number of offices together to a new central hub, and will be delivered to critical timescales.
Designing a clean, crisp space for Sapient Nitro
Marketing specialist and long-standing Peldon Rose client Sapient appointed us to fit out a floor of their UK headquarters to house their digital division, Sapient Nitro. We created a clean, crisp, minimalist interior to define the space in a very regular and controlled way. With built-in high-tech audio visual systems, the scheme provides the perfect backdrop to their business.
Creating room for Baker Hughes to expand
Expanding oilfield service company Baker Hughes asked us to design and construct an additional floor on their European headquarters at Chiswick Park. Having worked with them on the original building -- and on many of the firm's projects around the world -- we returned to help them create the extra space they needed.
A flexible new headquarters for Tullow Oil
After working with Peldon Rose on seven previous projects, Tullow Oil asked us to design and build their new 132,000 sq ft headquarters at Chiswick Park, west London. This fast-track project required our team to deliver a complex fit-out within uncompromising deadlines. The result? Strong, clean, architectural lines and sustainable technologies shape a highly flexible and multi-functional workspace that will accommodate Tullow for the next decade.
