Today’s workplace is governed by a very detailed set of Health & Safety guidelines and Building Regulations, which are designed to maximise the safety of the workplace and ensure that the user can operate safely within it.
We ensure that all of our proposals and works not only comply with all of the required guidelines but also offer solutions to any complications there may be.
The employer now has new responsibilities under the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations with respect to appointing a CDM Health & Safety Co-ordinator well in advance of a project commencing. This is a role that we undertake on your behalf, but we will also work with third parties within this role. As part of the process we will explain your statutory obligations to this regard within our first meeting and any timescale implications these may have on your project but we also then take on all of the work necessary for obtaining:-
In order to comply with some of the latest Building Regulations, more particularly Part M (providing access and facilities for those with a disability), there are often increased costs to the project which go with ensuring that access is made available to all parties with a disability to ensure that they have the same usage of all parts of the office. This information will be detailed to you at the proposal stage in order to allow you to consider your options.
Our sites all have a dedicated full time site manager whose prime responsibility is to ensure that the site is running in a safe and efficient manner and that all Health & Safety guidelines are being met and that all contractors are carrying out their works in a safe manner to the highest quality.
At the end of any project you will be provided with all the necessary documentation within your Health & Safety file.
