Background:
With more than 100 lawyers and 334 people, Capsticks, the legal healthcare specialists, came to a point where they felt that their accommodation in Putney no longer fulfilled their needs.
Ultimately St George’s House was sought in the heart of Wimbledon, where they have just taken 43,000 sq ft.
Unusually, for a legal firm, Capsticks opted to go for a fully open plan solution, albeit supplemented by a higher than normal percentage use of meeting space and quiet areas.
How we delivered:
The workspace environment is organic with a real flow of energy that drives through the workspace allowing individuals to feel special yet within open plan. The ‘railway carriage’ adage has certainly been dispelled.
The colour palette responds well to Capsticks roots in healthcare with subtle tones of greens and walnut and maple timbers creating a restful, calming environment.
With a furniture solution from Herman Miller and Brunner, the open plan areas flow into strong corporate meeting spaces with a highly polished formal reception area.
An extensive suite of showers, locker rooms and bike parks has also been provided.
