Background:
Madoff Securities, who have recently splashed the headlines for making millions vanish into thin air; appointed Peldon Rose in 2006 in order to advise them about a potential property relocation within Mayfair.
Following an extensive building search it was agreed in early 2008 to refurbish their existing offices in Berkeley Street.
The refurbishment was undertaken, partly while in situ and partly by the use of serviced office accommodation not 500 yards down Berkeley Street.
The office environment had to reflect that of their already substantial offices in New York and also had to attract more high net worth individuals who were the famous clients of Bernie Madoff.
How we delivered:
The project ultimately is a serene environment of cool grey silk wall coverings with strong black sumptuous joinery throughout.
Artwork was commissioned predominantly in America, which now adorns the walls and is predominantly black and white.
The conference room oozes luxury with a black polished slate table and hand crafted black leather chairs.
The trading floor is slick and is driven by a state of the art communications infrastructure all designed, consulted and constructed by Peldon Rose.
